Chiral phase structure and critical end point in QCD

We map out the QCD phase structure at finite temperature and chemical potential for 2-flavour 2 + 1-flavour QCD. This is done within a generalised functional approach to put forward in arXiv:2002.07500 [hep-ph]. Specifically we compute quark propagator finite-temperature density fluctuations of gluon quark-gluon vertex on basis precision data vacuum correlation functions. The novel ingredient direct self-consistent computation DSEs dressings vertex, contrast common use STI-inspired vertices. For small densities results chiral order parameter agree with respective lattice renormalisation group results, large present are quantitative agreement latter, including location critical end point.
